Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Cascade is a breathtakingly beautiful place to live and I'm doing my part to preserve its character for future generations.
My husband's work as a physician brought us to the area and planting our roots here was the best decision we could have made. 
Our kids play safely in a big yard and are thriving in Forest Hills Public Schools.
Professionally, I'm a public relations and communication strategist. For over 20 years, I have developed award-winning campaigns, promoted destination tourism programs, partnered with Chambers, and navigated crises for global companies, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses. Personally, I've always maintained an interest in politics. I grew up supporting campaigns and take community issues head-on.
I'm running for Cascade Township Trustee to bring a fresh perspective to town hall. My "It's TIME" platform prioritizes:
Transparency
- Promoting universal transparency for the good of our neighbors - not only on the topics the Board of Trustees picks and chooses
- Identifying any special interests influencing Cascade Township decision-making
- Adding context to and before my votes
- Delivering effective and timely communication
Initiative
- Actively mitigating safety risks and health hazards (e.g. PFAS, pedestrian safety, and
crime incidents) - Advancing opportunities for small businesses, local entrepreneurs, and strategic partnerships
- Exploring ongoing protection for our natural spaces
- Offering more engaging community resources + recreational events/activities alongside the Friends of the Cascade Library, Cascade Historical Society, Parks & Recreation Department and Parks Committee
Moral Leadership
- Modeling collaboration, decorum, professionalism, and civil discourse with peers
and constituents - Elevating facts to dispel misinformation and disinformation, especially when the extra details will help close unnecessary divides
Effectiveness
- Collaborating with the Board and committees to efficiently yet responsibly implement Cascade's Strategic Plan, Master Plan, Downtown Development Authority Strategic Plan, and Parks and Recreation Plan
